THE JOY OF RACING REIMAGINED

Notice Of Series: IC37 Class 2024 Season Championship Trophy

Teams who compete in four events this summer will be scored using the high point system to determine the overall winner of the 2024 summer season.   In addition, there will be a Corinthian overall winner using the same crriteria for scoring.

A Team’s final score for each event will be the number of the participants minus the number of boats that finished ahead of it. For example, if a Team wins a 25-boat event, it will be awarded 25 points; second place will earn 24 points; third place 23 points and so on. The 25th place boat will earn 1 point.

Required regattas are the 170th Annual Regatta (Saturday and Sunday racing only), IC37 Class National Championships and IC37 Class North American Championship, plus one of the following regattas: Sail Newport Regatta and Safe Harbor Race Weekend. If a Team sails more than one Other Event, the best score will be counted.

New to the 2024 will be a New Team award (details to follow).
